Beverly Hills Hotel Bungalow Getting Makeover
Several stars from Hollywood's Golden Age have called the place home at one time or another.

Beverly Hills, CA — Just like everything else in Tinseltown, the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel bungalows are getting a face lift.
The "home away from home" for Hollywood royalty is undergoing a comprehensive restoration and redesign. The internationally renowned firm, Champalimaud Design, was selected to oversee the makeover, which is expected to complete in 2018.
The makeover is slow moving to minimize disruptions and inconvenience to guests at the hotel.

The bungalows were introduced in 1915 for guests that wanted a bit more privacy. Stars from Hollywood's Golden Age have called the place home over the years, including Gloria Swanson, Lauren Bacall and Marlene Dietrich. Elizabeth Taylor was known to honeymoon there several times.
