Beverly Hills Launches askBH Resident Service Request Hotline
The city's new service line functions similarly to 311 services in other communities.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — The city this month launched a new phone and email service that allows residents to request services, report issues and resolve complaints, functioning similarly to other cities' 311 service.
"Our askBH program provides the community with one point-of-contact for non-emergency assistance on City services, programs, and events. Community members can request information and services, report issues and concerns and receive updates when their requests have been resolved," reads a release from the city.
Here are some things the service allows residents to do:

- Register for camps and classes, reserve park amenities.
- Report potholes, sidewalk and streetlight issues, fallen trees and limbs.
- Request bulky item pickups, extra pickups, start or stop commercial trash service.
- Report water leaks, request water shutoffs and water conservation tools and information.
- Report potential code violations.
- Request information and status on fire and building permits, inspection appointments, plan checks.
- Request information on city projects, timelines, and impacts.
- Hear information on elections, City Council and commission meetings.
Residents can access askBH through a mobile app, via email (askBH@beverlyhills.org) and over the phone (310-285-1000). The askBH team is available 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.
