A Beverly Hills eatery responded to a recent viral video showing two people involved in physical fight outside the restaurant.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — A Beverly Hills restaurant responded this week to viral videos that show a person getting punched and falling to the ground outside the eatery.
The incident occurred April 26 outside Porta Via on Canon Drive after "several individuals with cameras" stationed on the sidewalk were harassing people dining inside the restaurant, Porta Via wrote in an Instagram post Wednesday.
"One of the patrons became involved in a physical altercation with the group," the post reads.

One of the videos in question was posted on Instagram by Street People, which shows someone in a hooded sweatshirt taking a swing at a man wearing a tie, who punches back, knocking the person into an outdoor heater and onto the ground.
"The attacker is part of a crew of men that have been harassing patrons around Beverly Hills for months," Street People wrote.

Porta Via said that police responded to the incident after it happened and "charges were not pressed by anyone involved."
The restaurant's statement also sought to clear up what it said was misinformation about the incident. No one involved was "an employee nor a manager as has been recently falsely reported," the statement reads.
