Beverly Hills To Welcome New Council Members, Mayor
Two new council members are set to be sworn in at a ceremony next month.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — City officials will gather next month to officially welcome two newly elected council members during a swearing-in ceremony that will also see the installation of a new mayor.
At the April 2 ceremony, Craig Corman and Mary Wells are set to be sworn in as the two newest council members, pending final election results.
The council's leadership will also undergo its annual routine rotation. Outgoing Mayor Julian Gold will pass the mayor's gavel to Councilmember Lester Friedman and Councilmember Sharona Nazarian will be sworn in as vice mayor.

The ceremony will also serve as a goodbye to Gold and Councilmember Lili Bosse, both of whom are finishing out their final weeks on the council.
Corman and Wells are expected to be sworn in as Gold and Bosse's replacements. Officials are still counting ballots from the March 5 election: Corman has 23.70 percent of the vote and Wells has 19.43 percent as of March 15, putting them in the lead and the likely winners in a 10-way race for the two seats, according to county election data.
