Beverly Hilton Ice Machine Catches Fire

A fire that broke out in an ice machine on the seventh floor of the was extinguished less than 20 minutes after it was reported late Thursday, a dispatcher said.

The fire at the hotel at the intersection of Wilshire and Santa Monica boulevards was reported at 11:02 p.m. and was extinguished by 11:21 p.m., the dispatcher said. No injuries were reported, she said.

The dispatcher did not know how many firefighters went to the scene, but said it was a "full department response."
