Carrie Fisher Suffers Heart Attack on Plane Bound for Los Angeles: Reports
The actress reportedly stopped breathing on the flight and was rushed to the hospital as soon as it landed, according to reports.

LOS ANGELES, CA -- Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher has reportedly suffered a "massive heart attack" Friday on a flight bound for LAX, according to media reports.
The 60-year-old actress was on a flight from London to LAX when she had the heart attack, according to gossip website, TMZ.
Her brother, Todd Fisher, told the Associated Press that she is stable condition.

Passengers on board were administering CPR on the actress, according to TMZ. Tweets from passengers on the same flight as Fisher said she stopped breathing and was taken off the plane by emergency medical personnel.
The plane landed at LAX just after noon and Fisher was rushed to a nearby hospital, according to TMZ.

Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott said paramedics met the plane at the gate at around 12:15 p.m., performed "advanced life support" and rushed the patient to a local hospital. He declined to identify who the patient was.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Fisher was rushed to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center where she is listed in critical condition and is on a ventilator.
United Airlines released the following statement Friday afternoon about an unresponsive passenger on one of its flights.
"Medical personnel met United flight 935 from London to Los Angeles upon arrival today after the crew reported that a passenger was unresponsive. Our thoughts are with our customer at this time and any requests for additional information should be directed to local authorities," the statement said.
Fisher has been on tour promoting her latest book, "The Princess Diarist,'' where she confessed she had an on-set affair with Harrison Ford during the taping of "Star Wars."
