Complete Guide to 4th of July Fireworks in Los Angeles
Several firework shows are planned throughout the county's iconic venues as well as parks and high schools to celebrate Independence Day.

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA — For the country's 240th birthday party, the Southland plans to celebrate with a bang. Several firework shows are planned throughout the county's iconic venues as well as parks and high school.
The biggest and longest-running fireworks show is the annual AmericaFest, now in its 90th year, at the Rose Bowl. The event also includes a motor cross stunt show, musical performances by the Liverpool Legends and a special salute to NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab's Juno's mission, which is expected to arrive at Jupiter on July 4.
Rose Bowl parking lot opens at 10 a.m. and the fireworks starts at 9 p.m. The children's carnival starts at 2 p.m. at Gate H. General admission tickets are $13, while reserved seating is $25.

Not to be out done, Marina Del Rey plans a 20-minute fireworks show over the water in the marina. The show is sync to music playing through loudspeakers at Burton Chace Park. Fisherman’s Village is also a good spot to see the show.
Want a little bit of Hawaii for your Fourth of July then the 18th annual Fourth of July Fireworks Festival at CBS Studio Center in Studio City is the place to be. This year's theme is Hawaiian Luau. The event features musical performances from James Kruk, magic shows and a display of famous cars from movies and television series. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. and close at 8 p.m.

General admission tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children 6 to 12 years old, with children 5 years old and under admitted free.
VIP tickets, which includes dinner in an air-conditioned sound stage, are $125 for adults, $50 for children ages 6 to 12 and $15 children 3 to 5 years old.
Downtown Los Angeles is planning a free family fun event on July 4 that will culminate in a rooftop fireworks display. The fourth annual Fourth of July Block Party at Grand Park will run from 3-9:30 p.m. and be spread over eight blocks, from Temple to Second streets between Grand Avenue and Main Street. It will feature music, mural-painting, dancing and food from 30 vendors.
