Dangerous Chase Winds Through Hollywood, WeHo Before Crashing in Beverly Hills
LAPD was trying to pull the suspect over for reckless driving when he took off on the high-speed pursuit.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA -- A reckless driving suspect is in custody Wednesday night after leading the Los Angeles Police Department in a dangerous high-speed pursuit through Hollywood, West Hollywood and ending up in Beverly Hills.
The chase started at around 10:45 p.m. at the intersection Hollywood Boulevard and Gower Street, according to a dispatcher at the LAPD Hollywood Station. Police were trying to pull the suspect over for reckless driving and that was when the suspect took off in a newer model Mercedes-Benz SUV.
The chase wind through Hollywood and West Hollywood at speeds up to 100 mph. During the chase, the suspect jumped a few curbs and center dividers, police said. It ended when the suspect was trying to make a sharp turn on Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills and crashing into a tree in the center divider.

He then tried to evade officers by jumping through several fences before being apprehended in a courtyard of a home on Sierra Avenue at around 11 p.m. There were no injuries.
