Ellen DeGeneres Reportedly Buys Another Beverly Hills Home

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi reportedly have “surreptitiously initiated the purchase of a 1960s contemporary in a particularly plummy pocket of Beverly Hills,” according to Variety.

The daytime TV chat show star and actress de Rossi, who are known for acquiring prestigious properties, remodeling them, and then selling, are said to presently “manage an impressive portfolio that includes 13-acre estate in the luxurious seaside enclave of Montecito, acquired for $26.5 million in 2013; two adjacent condos purchased for a combined $16 million in 2014 and put back immediately on the market and made available over the summer for a total of $15 million; and a ranch house on a prominent area in the Hollywood Hills. This ranch was bought in 2005, sold in 2007 and, re-acquired for $8.75 million late last year,” according to RealtyToday.com.

The home they’re stealthily in the process of purchasing is “down an extra-long driveway and invisible from the street” and has four bedrooms eight bathrooms in a glass-walled resident of some 5,300 square feet. The property includes a motor court and swimming pool in the back.
