Four-Day Architecture Fair Coming To Beverly Hills: Get Tickets

An architecture fair will show off famed Beverly Hills structures like Greystone Mansion, Edelweiss Chocolates and City Hall in May.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — A new architecture and design festival is scheduled for early May in Beverly Hills, offering residents discounts on special tours and events.

Residents can buy presale tickets starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday, a two-week head start on public sales for only Beverly Hills residents. Presale tickets will be discounted by 15-20 percent for Beverly Hills residents based on the billing zip code. Tickets will go on sale for the general public at 12 p.m. on March 15.

The festival, MADE, will run from May 4-7 and will feature curated tours of local structures like City Hall, Greystone Mansion and Edelweiss Chocolates, the store that inspired the chocolate factory scene in "I Love Lucy." Events will include an opening gala, cocktail hours, architectural trolley rides and luncheons with local organizations.

Some tours and events, like the trolley ride with architectural stops, will be free, while others will cost between $15 and over $300. The festival will kick off with a gala with a live performance and cocktails, with an entry cost of $325.

Other events include cocktail hour to uncover mysterious old murals and a walking tour of Rodeo Drive.

“As a City that cherishes our incredible history, culture, architecture and art, we are proud to share our magical City while welcoming our community and visitors to explore our City’s restaurants, shops and parks together in such a unique and exciting way,” Beverly Hills Mayor Lili Bosse said in a statement.

The festival is put on by MADE, or Modern Architecture Design Experiences, a non-profit organization that puts on architecture and design programming primarily in Palm Springs. Its best known program is Modernism Week, a Midcentury modern festival in Palm Springs.
