The popular Beverly Hills Healthy City lunch and learn series returns with “Building a Prepared Community,” a conversation with Pamela Mottice Muller, city of Beverly Hills director of Emergency Management and the Health and Safety Commission, on Wednesday, Oct. 22.

The free event will be hosted from 11:45 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Municipal Gallery at City Hall, located at 455 Rexford Drive.
“Disasters do happen and I want everyone to know what they can do individually and as a community to prepare,” said Mayor Lili Bosse. “I believe that a healthy city is a prepared city and this event is part of our ongoing effort to strengthen our ability to respond calmly to and recover quickly from an emergency.”

Join guest speaker Pamela Mottice Muller, Director of Emergency Management for the City of Beverly Hills, and the Health and Safety Commission in talking about what residents can do to be ready in the event of a disaster and how the community can help each other.
Hear about ways to obtain information before, during and after a disaster, learn what supplies you need to ensure you and your family can take care of themselves and learn lifesaving action steps you should take when a disaster occurs. The free healthy lunch and learn will also provide a closer look at our community’s ability to mitigate against, prepare for, respond to and recover from any disaster so that when the time comes we are all ready!
A light lunch will be provided to all participants. Free two-hour parking is available in the Civic Center parking lot, located at 450 Rexford Drive.
