Black Celebrities Express Outrage Over Another Fatal Police Shooting of Black Man
Celebrities weigh in on the latest police shootings in which two black men were killed.
Beverly Hills, CA — A day after a fatal shooting of an unarmed black man in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, another black man was shot and killed during a traffic stop in Falcon Heights, Minnesota, causing outrage among black celebrities in Hollywood.
"Grey's Anatomy" star Jesse Williams, who referenced police brutality against black people at the BET Awards last month, held no punches when he tweeted:
"In the interest of time, would ye noble patriots please provide a list of infractions punishable by spontaneous public execution? Thanks!"

Other celebrities such as "Birth of a Nation" star Nate Parker issued a call to action for the black community to rise up and act.
"The assault on the black body in this country is as American as apple pie. It is time for a #CallToAction. Let's prove #BlackLivesMatter," he tweeted.

The Minnesota shooting occurred the same day that the U.S. Justice Department opened a civil rights investigation into another fatal police shooting in Baton Rouge.
