Holocaust Survivor Talks Mental Wellness In New Series

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Holocaust survivor Edith Eva Eger will join Mayor Lili Bosse Friday for a discussion of mental wellness in Beverly Hills.

The discussion will kick off a series of discussions about wellness in Beverly Hills, which will include speakers chosen by Bosse for their impact on their communities.

Friday's inaugural event will run from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the courtyard on the Crescent Side of City Hall. The event will be free to the public and free two hour parking will be available in the Rexford parking structure.

Eger is a trauma expert and author from Hungary whose parents were killed in the Holocaust. She and her sister survived and Eger eventually moved to Czechoslovakia and later to the United States. On top of her writing, Eger has a clinical practice in La Jolla, California and is on the faculty at the University of California, San Diego.

"At 94-years young she’s truly my INSPIRATION! Her advice has brought so much incredible value to my life, and I know she will bring so much to yours too," Bosse said on Instagram.
