Inaugural 'Beverly Hills Dog Show' to Air on USA Network

The show will be taped at the Fairplex in Pomona on March 4 and aired on USA on Easter Sunday, April 16.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — The first ever Beverly Hills Dog Show will be televised next year on the USA Network, the network announced Thursday.

The show is part of the partnership with the Kennel Club of Beverly Hills. The show will be taped at the Fairplex in Pomona on March 4 and aired on USA on Easter Sunday, April 16. More than 1,000 dogs from more than 200 eligible breeds are expected to participate in the competition.

The show will be hosted by David Frei and John O'Hurley. Frei and O'Hurley are also the hosts for the National Dog Show.

"We are thrilled about becoming a part of the dog show tradition on USA Network and NBC," said Tom Powers, President, Kennel Club of Beverly Hills. "Our goal is to make this a real celebration of all the dogs in our life."

The show is officially known as the Beverly Hills Dog Show Presented by Purina.
