Does anyone in your family work in politics or government?
No.

Have you ever held a public office, whether appointive or elective?
No.

Why are you seeking a seat on the City Council?
I'm seeking the office to improve the quality of life for all residents of Beverly Hills through increased safety, a revitalization of all neighborhoods, thoughtful community development, improved business relationships and clear, open communication between government and residents.

What do you think are the top three issues for voters in this election, and how do you plan to address them?
People live in Beverly Hills for quality of life. Safety is a main pillar attributing to the level of quality. I have solid ideas to improve safety on all levels; deter crime with more foot patrols, stronger enforcement of ordinances, improved lighting and walking paths in public spaces, and overhaul of traffic flow for efficiency and safer pedestrian crossings. I will revitalize ALL neighborhood villages to bring back the magic of Beverly Hills with strong support of our mom and pop establishments so they thrive, adding new resident green spaces. I have first hand experience with other iconic cities which have faced overdevelopment and underdevelopment, and I will use that knowledge to balance thoughtful planning of new development projects.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I bring a much broader perspective to addressing the city's issues because I've lived in two other locations which have faced similar challenges, and will apply that experience to safety and community development decisions. I use a common sense approach to problem solving, and have 20 years of practical business knowledge to inform fiscal decisions regarding the business of running Beverly Hills. I have a fresh energy and the emotional awareness to help heal a divided community. My background is well rounded, and I'm an outside-the-box thinker that gets things done. I am a renter, so there will be representation of the 60 percent of residents who rent in Beverly Hills. I will be accessible to everyone, and will ensure open lines of communication.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I own my own successful business, and have held numerous leadership positions directly benefitting Beverly Hills. I've chaired city committees and initiatives, held positions within the Chamber of Commerce, the school district and Rotary Club. I have attended every City Council meeting for the past two years, fully immersing myself in the issues we are facing.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
There is always a solution to every problem.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I will work tirelessly every day to improve the quality of life for each Beverly Hills resident and business owner. I have always excelled as a leader, and have a stellar work ethic and moral compass. I am what Beverly Hills needs right now, and I am ready for the job.
