Million-Dollar Listing Beverly Hills: Manhattan Firm Taps Local for Beverly Hills Office

Colin Keenan has taken the helm as managing broker at Douglas Elliman Real Estate's office in town.

Douglas Elliman Real Estate announces that Colin Keenan, a highly-respected real estate manager, has been named Senior Vice President and Managing Broker of the company’s first California brokerage in Beverly Hills. The firm expanded its operations to California earlier this year and expects to open more offices in the near future.

“Colin has a vast understanding of the Southern California residential market and has managed some of the area’s top agents,” said Howard M. Lorber, Chairman of Douglas Elliman. “We look forward to growing our West Coast offices with Colin at the helm, along with the rest of our Elliman team.”

Colin has enjoyed success in various residential offices from Newport Beach to LA’s Pasadena and the Westside. Years of experience working for other reputable brokerages, including John Aaroe & Associates, Prudential California Realty and Teles Properties, have established and re-enforced his highly regarded reputation in the industry. His strong background in brokerage and management contribute to his many accomplishments. In his most recent position at Nourmand & Associates, Colin oversaw more than $4 billion in real estate transactions. His goal, he stated, is “to help to build the Elliman brand into a major force for buyers, sellers and agents in California.”

Originally from Andover, Connecticut, Colin graduated from the renowned Berklee School of Music in Boston with a degree in classical composition.
