Runners Headed to Beverly Hills for LA Marathon
Here's everything you need to know about who's running, road closures and where to see the action in Beverly Hills.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA - Thousands of runners are preparing to flood the Los Angeles streets on March 19 for the 38th annual Los Angeles Marathon, promising fanfare and road closures across the city.
Runners will participate in a full marathon and charity half marathon on Sunday, and a 5K race and kids race on Saturday. The 5K will take place in Elysian Park, ending with a view of Dodger Stadium.
The marathon course will start at Dodger Stadium and finish at Avenue of the Stars in Century City, running past iconic Los Angeles landmarks like Rodeo Drive, the Pantages Theater, Capitol Records, Little Tokyo, the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Echo Park Lake.

The Charity Half Marathon will also start at Dodger Stadium and finish in Century City, only completing half the course distance.
The course will take runners on a zig-zag route through the heart of Beverly Hills: Down Burton Way, “Little” Santa Monica Boulevard, Rodeo Drive and Wilshire Boulevard, returning to Little Santa Monica before getting back on the main boulevard in Century City.

Much of Santa Monica Boulevard and scores of adjacent streets, as well as nearby freeways, will be shut down from 3 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 19. All closures can be found at this link.
Thousands have signed up to run from all over the country. There are 65 local Beverly Hills runners, who can all be tracked online using this link.
