Santa Claus, Katharine McPhee Kick Off Holiday Season In Beverly Hills
Katharine McPhee and David Foster sang in the holiday season in Beverly Hills Thursday as the city sparkled with lights and fireworks.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Beverly Hills City Council on Thursday officially lit up the city for the holidays at a community event full of music, food trucks and holiday costumes.
The night featured a performance by singer-songwriter Katharine McPhee and her husband, 16-time Grammy Award-winner David Foster. Santa Claus also made a special visit at the end of the evening.
"I'm so happy to be here on Rodeo, here in Beverly Hills," Santa Claus said. "It is a special night here in Beverly Hills!"

Attendees walked through a brightly lit Rodeo Drive lined with holiday train displays, food trucks and local vendors including McPhee's jewelry line. Council members counted down and flipped on the city's holiday lights that will stay sparkling through Jan. 1.

"It's so great to be back together and tonight we promise you the best holiday ever!" Mayor Lili Bosse said to the crowd.
The night closed out with even more sparkle, as fireworks lit up the sky from two different locations along Rodeo Drive. Holiday lights will also liven up Beverly Hills City Hall, Beverly Gardens and the lily pond.
