Suspected Beverly Hills Burglar Eludes Police

Police conducted a search after a resident reported hearing broken glass but came up empty.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA - Police searched for a burglary suspect in Beverly Hills late Monday evening but came up empty.

The search was announced by the Beverly Hills Police Department around 11 p.m. in the area of the 300 block of South Swall Drive, between Robertson Boulevard and Doheny Drive, near Olympic Boulevard.

A resident reported hearing broken glass in that area and police confirmed the break-in.

Residents were told to stay inside their homes while police conducted the search. Some residents were displaced during the search, police said.

The search was called off around 3:15 a.m. and a suspect was not found, police said.
