'Why the Heck Is Everyone Moving to Beverlywood?,' WSJ Asks
Beverly Hills' southerly neighbor has been highlighted recently for being the "most sought after neighborhood" in Los Angeles.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Two recent articles have highlighted a real-estate boom in Beverly Hills' southerly neighbor, with the Daily Mail calling Beverlywood the "most sought after neighborhood" in Los Angeles.
The Daily Mail story comes after the Wall Street Journal published an article titled "Why the Heck Is Everyone Moving to Beverlywood?"
"Over the last 10 years, Beverlywood has blown up," sales agent Marc Noah told the WSJ. "Ten to 15 years ago, you used to be able to buy a house in Beverlywood for $200,000 to $300,000. Today, you can't buy just land on any of the prime streets from less than $3 million."
