Woman Wanted In Beverly Hills Arrested Outside LA Mayor's Home

The 48-year-old had an outstanding arrest warrant for an alleged stalking incident.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — A woman was arrested outside the official residence of Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and turned over to police in Beverly Hills, where she had an outstanding arrest warrant for an alleged stalking incident. The 48-year-old was being held Tuesday in lieu of $150,000 bail.

Beverly Hills Police Department Lt. Elisabeth Albanese identified the woman as Jessica Angela Collins, 48, of Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Times.

She was taken into custody about 5:15 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of South Irving Boulevard in Windsor Square, near the mayor's Getty House residence, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Mike Lopez. He said the woman had an outstanding warrant, but offered no additional details.

Collins was booked Monday night by Beverly Hills police and was being held in lieu of $150,000 bail, according to sheriff's online inmate records.

Collins had been charged in 2018 with child endangerment, harassment and trespassing in connection with a November 2017 incident and on Oct. 7 pleaded no contest to trespassing, per court records obtained by the Los Angeles Times.
