Zagat Calls Momed 'Neighborhood Gem'
The restaurant rating authority confirms what Patch already knows...that Momed is a great place to grab a bite in Beverly Hills.
, a Mediterranean restaurant on South Beverly Drive, has been named one of the area's 15 "neighborhood gems" in the latest Zagat blog on Huff Post Los Angeles.
Here's what Zagat had to say about the eatery:
You'll find more tourists on the north side of Wilshire Boulevard in the Golden Triangle of Beverly Hills, but South Beverly Drive is for the locals. The whole street is teeming with mostly casual restaurants, but one of our favorites is Momed, which is so consistently good, we'll even drive across town for it. The duck schwarma, beleela, carrot salad, flatbreads, Turkish coffee, pastries—it's all fantastic. Great spot for picnic provisions, too.

Part restaurant, part marketplace, the cafe-style eatery has a selection of salads and dips that are ready for take out, plus a full menu of made-to-order items. The food features free-range meats, fresh fish and organic produce. Visit now and enjoy the weather while dining on the outdoor patio. It's also a great place for people watching.
