
Attention residents, business owners and commuters in the vicinity of the northbound I-405 and Cotner Avenue:
The Cotner Avenue on-ramp to northbound I-405 will be closed nightly, beginning Friday, Feb. 1, until Tuesday, Feb. 22. During daytime hours, the on-ramp will be reduced from two lanes to one lane. Turn pockets on Cotner Avenue for on-ramp access will be closed nightly during the ramp closure. This closure is necessary to demolish the existing on-ramp, and to conduct roadway paving and K-rail shifts for the new on-ramp.
Closures happens Monday to Friday from 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., Friday to Saturday from 10 p.m. to 9 a.m., Saturday to Sunday from 8 p.m. to 10 a.m. and Sunday to Monday 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

What to expect:
- On-ramp reduced to one lane during daytime hours.
- Access for trucks exceeding 30 feet in length eliminated throughout the duration of this operation, 24 hours a day.
- Detour for trucks over 30 feet in length will be: Cotner Avenue, to Pico Boulevard, to Sepulveda Boulevard, to Santa Monica Boulevard, to the northbound I-405 on-ramp.
- Traffic control officers will be placed at the Cotner/Pico intersection, the Cotner/Olympic intersection and the on-ramp entrance during peak hours, 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 to 7:30 p.m. Officers will remain as necessary.
