Video: Memorial to Brentwood's Touri Bolourchi, Killed on 9/11, Largely Unknown

There's a plaque in her memory on the median of San Vicente Boulevard at Gorham, but few seem to notice.

The beloved Brentwood grandmother, a retired nurse, was on her way home from a family visit in Boston when terrorists hijacked United Airlines Flight 175 and crashed it into the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001.

Years later, her daughter Neda placed a memorial to Touri Bolourchi on the median at San Vicente and Gorham.

Monday afternoon, it was business as usual at the corner. Scores of pedestrians walked by the boulder but few paid attention to the plaque.
