Adam Schiff's Luggage Stolen In San Francisco

According to the congressman's Senate campaign, his bags were stolen from a San Francisco garage before a formal dinner on the Peninsula.

BURLINGAME, CA — Rep. Adam Schiff had to ditch his suit for less formal attire after thieves stole his luggage from a San Francisco parking garage before a campaign event at a Burlingame restaurant.

The congressman representing SoCal's 30th District is running for the Senate seat vacated by the late Sen. Dianne Feinstein. He landed in the Bay Area Thursday for a series of campaign events, and as FOX 11 reports, it didn't take long for thieves to strike, snatching the bags out of his vehicle parked in a downtown San Francisco garage.

Schiff's campaign reps told the San Francisco Chronicle the congressman was unrattled by the turn of fortune, opting for a casual hunting vest at an otherwise formal dinner event at Burlingame's Ristorante Rocca.
