CCFD Holiday Toy Drive Returns

The Central County Fire Department'a holiday toy drive is underway. New, unwrapped toys and monetary donations will be accepted at 26 donation sites in Burlingame, including 3 fire stations, 16 businesses, 4 schools and 3 government buildings.

There are donation sites throughout Hillsborough, as well, for a total of 31 locations. Donations will be accepted through Dec. 24.

The donations go to 14 charitable organizations, five of which are in Burlingame. Home & Hope Interfaith Community, Shelter Network, Women's Recovery Association, CALL Primrose and Air Transport Employees all benefit from the toy drive.

The drive collection 214 barrels of toys in 2009.
