Deadline Extended: Nominations for North San Mateo County Leaders
Help Patch find young men and women making a difference in the area.

Between budget cuts, international conflicts and a contentious presidential election, it can be hard to find feel-good news.
But that’s why Patch prides itself in its work. Though it’s important to cover how budget cuts affect schools and the challenges in the local economy, Patch also shines a bright light on good things in our communities.

But these are just a few of the many young people in Burlingame and North San Mateo County making a difference.
Help Patch recognize 30 young people by nominating those you know in our first ever “Patch’s North San Mateo County 30 Under 30” project. The 30 people selected through nominations will be featured in the entire month of April on a team of three Patch sites: South San Francisco, Burlingame and Pacifica.

Nominations should include up to 300 words as to why the person should be featured and contact information for the person. Additional information, such as resumes and portraits, are useful.
The nomination deadline has been extended, but please submit your nominations as soon as possible to miriam@patch.com.
