Driver Killed In Solo Crash On Peninsula Highway: CHP
Police are investigating why a man driving a Dodge van drifted off the highway and crashed into a wall.
SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — A man driving a Dodge van Sunday on Highway 101 in Santa Clara County died in a solo-car crash after he drifted off the road and ran into a wall, police said.
At around 12:40 p.m. on Sunday just north of the Lawrence Expressway, a man driving a Dodge van crashed into a sound wall, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Police said they are still investigating why the driver of the van drifted onto the right shoulder before he went off the roadway and crashed into the sound wall.

The driver was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead, polcie said.
