Hillsborough Gas Leak Prompts Shelter-In-Place
The public was asked to avoid the area until the scene is clear.

HILLSBOROUGH, CA -- A shelter-in-place was implemented Wednesday morning following a gas leak in Hillsborough. In an alert to the public after 10 a.m., police said the gas leak was reported in the 2200 block of Oakdale.
Shortly after 11:10 a.m., police said the shelter in place order has been lifted.
Pacific Gas & Electric Company will remain at the scene to repair the line, and the road closures will be in effect until the repairs are complete.
