Last Chance: BSD Bond Oversight Committee Deadline Drawing Near

Ever wonder what the Measure A Bond Oversight Committee does? Why not get involved?

The is looking for volunteers to serve on the Measure A Bond Oversight Committee. The deadline for application is Saturday March 31.

Members of the committee oversee the expenditures of Measure A bond funds, used for facility improvement at the district’s six schools. The group meets four times a year and plays the important role of overseeing BSD’s use of public funds.

Members can serve up to two two-year terms.

A representative is needed from each of the following groups:

1) Registered member of a tax organization

2) Active member of a senior citizens organization

3) Active member in a local business organization

4) Two community at-large members

Contact Assistant Superintendent Robert Clark at 650-259-3800 or Program Manager Richard Terrones at 650-696-1200 for more information.  Letters of interest should be mailed to the district office at 1825 Trousdale Drive, Burlingame, CA 94010 to the attention of Superintendent Dr. Maggie MacIsaac. Letters are due March 31.
