PHOTO: Sing and Dance the Bullies Away
Burlingame students took their message of why bullying is wrong on the road to Santa Clara.
Burlingame elementary students, along with kids from other Bay area schools, performed Bullies Anonymous at the American Association of University Women (AAUW) State Convention Friday in Santa Clara.
Bullies Anonymous examines the complex and chronic issue of bullying.
“[Each character] is a recovering bully, and this is a meeting of Bullies Anonymous,” said Director Cathy Foxhoven during a March interview. “They’re all learning how to handle their bullying and to recognize it and to understand it.”
