Monday, Jan. 2
2:54 a.m. Officers were out with a subject seen in a park area at Gilbreth Road and Malcolm Road. The subject was identified as an employee on break.
8:54 a.m. Police received a report of a woman living in a green Ford Taurus at El Camino Real and Occidental Avenue. The car was gone when police arrived.

11:41 a.m. Wood pallets were stolen from a business on the 1500 block of Rollins Road.
12:58 p.m. A man was walking along the 1600 block of Albemarle Way carrying a briefcase and looking at houses.

5:22 p.m. A citizen reported that a man had refused to pick up debris left by his dog at Laurel Avenue and Morrell Avenue.
Tuesday, Jan. 3
9:52 a.m. An unknown individual took out an irrigation system and started a fire under the stairs on the 1800 block of Devereaux Drive.
10:23 a.m. Tools were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 1000 block of Capuchino Avenue.
11:43 a.m. A resident alerted police that workers were cutting down a heritage tree on the 1000 block of Cortez Avenue. The workers were just doing some trimming.
8:53 p.m. A passenger window was broken on a vehicle on the 0 block of Highland Avenue.
