Police Blotter: Bullet Found at Apartment Complex and Egged Vehicle

The following information was supplied by the Burlingame Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, May 19

9:30 a.m. A vehicle was egged overnight on the 1100 block of Drake Avenue.

10:52 a.m. A driver's license and checks were found on the 1300 block of Marsten Road and taken for safe keeping.

11:17 a.m. There was a report of a suspicious subject on the 200 block of Capuchino Avenue. He was placing ads on door handles and there was no criminal activity.

7:29 p.m. A vehicle was stolen by the reporting party's young son and his friends on the 1000 block of Carolan Avenue.

Sunday, May 20

2:20 p.m. There was a small fire on the 1100 block of Howard Avenue.

2:32 p.m. A citizen noticed an open door to a business on the 1200 block of California Drive that was closed. It was left open by accident.

7:31 p.m. A resident found a bullet on a 1100 block of Laguna Avenue apartment complex walkway. Police took the bullet.

Monday, May 21

12:07 a.m. A resident on the 1100 block of Chula Vista Avenue reported a possible prowler in the yard, but no one was found.

12:49 a.m. A PG&E transformer blew on the 1200 block of Bellevue Avenue.

2:28 p.m. A taxi driver didn't return a company taxi to the business on the 800 block of Mitten Road.
