Police Blotter: Suspicious Pizza and Road Rage

Thursday, Jan. 26

1:42 a.m. A man who appeared to be in his early 20s took beer from a store on the 500 block of California Drive without paying for it.

10:01 a.m. A small dog was found without tags on the 600 block of Burlingame Avenue.

4:48 p.m. A washer and dryer were stolen from the 1700 block of Sebastian Drive.

7:48 p.m. A male in one car and a female in the other were honking back and forth at each other at California Drive and Oak Grove Avenue.

Friday, Jan. 27

2:35 a.m. A home on the 1100 block of Chula Vista Avenue was broken in to. A resident found his rear sliding door open and property taken from the home.

11:06 a.m. Police received a report of a subject siphoning gas on the 200 block of Anza Boulevard. The area was checked and the subject was gone.

1:38 p.m. There was a report of a driver doing donuts and running stop signs near the 900 block of Paloma Avenue.

1:51 p.m. A moving company knocked over a children's crossing sign on the 100 block of Park Road.

Saturday, Jan. 28

9:54 a.m. A car was egged overnight on the 800 block of Park Avenue.

10:50 a.m. An outside electrical box was opened at Castenada Drive, Martinez Drive and Trousdale Drive. Comcast was notified.

12:02 p.m. A house was egged on the 2200 block of Summit Drive. The resident believed it to be his child's former friends who he was having problems with. The matter was brought to school administrators.

9:37 p.m. A resident reported a person at her door on the 1100 block of Chula Vista Avenue claiming to be a pizza delivery man, but she never ordered pizza. The delivery man turned out to have the wrong address.

Sunday, Jan. 29

1:03 a.m. There was a large, loud group at Francisco Drive and Oak Grove Avenue. It was determined to be a group of students who had attended winter formal and had just been dropped off by a bus and were waiting for their parents.

4:14 p.m. Subjects were reportedly skateboarding on the 1400 block of Benito Avenue. No one was there when police arrived.

7:29 p.m. A large tree limb was blocking the roadway at the 100 block of Lorton Avenue.
