Police Blotter: Large Rock in Road

Monday, August 8
1:26 a.m. A resident complained of cigarette smoke coming from a neighbor's window on the 1200 block of Oak Grove Avenue.
5:43 a.m. A suspicious male was walking around a neighborhood yard on the 100 block of Bayswater Avenue with a flashlight. The man turned out to the homeowner, who was turning off sprinklers.

4:33 p.m. A subject was standing in the street on the 2800 block of Arguello Drive and making cars go around him. He was gone when police arrived.
Tuesday, August 9

8:58 a.m. A homeless person was in the bushes on the 800 block of Mahler Road.
1:03 p.m. A bearded man was standing near the North 101 highway ramp on Broadway with a cardboard sign. He was sent on his way.
10:24 p.m. Juveniles were reportedly throwing eggs on a lawn on the 1400 block of Columbus Avenue.
Wednesday, August 10
4:05 a.m. A large rock was reported at El Camino Real and Lincoln Avenue. Police moved the rock to the side of the road.
11:15 a.m. A refrigerator compressor at a 1500 block of Adeline Drive business was reported as too noisy for the neighbors. The store will have it looked at by a mechanic.
2:36 p.m. A driver failed to yield to a pedestrian at Burlingame Avenue and Primrose Road and then challenged the pedestrian to a fight.
Thursday, August 11
2:16 a.m. A parked car at Capuchino Avenue and Lincoln Avenue was struck by a black car spinning donuts.
12:34 p.m. Vandalism was reported on the 0 block of Park Road, but there was no merit to the claim, only chalk usage.
6:08 p.m. Residents reported a suspicious male on the 1200 block of Burlingame Avenue approaching residents and talking about strange things.
