Police Blotter: "Outlandish" Crimes and Stolen Shoes

Wednesday, April 4
3:28 a.m. There was an accidental 9-1-1 call from the 1100 block of Bernal Avenue. The house is under construction and there was a problem with the phone.
7:45 a.m. An unknown subject placed nails underneath car tires and in a parking lot on the 1000 block of Cadillac Way.

8:53 a.m. A subject came into the police station and was reporting "outlandish" crimes. Police found no merit to the crimes.
Thursday, April 5

4:20 a.m. A web report was filed for stolen shoes on the 1400 block of El Camino Real.
8:43 a.m. A citizen reported to police a suspicious subject on the 1600 block of Monte Corvino Way who dropped a bag when he noticed the citizen was looking at him. The subject was located and found to be in possession of a stolen phone.
3:28 p.m. The owner of a building on the 1000 block of El Camino Real reported two young men had painted grafitti on the building.
Friday, April 6
12:15 p.m. A resident reported a suspicious person wearing an orange vest and banging trees on the 1500 block of Cypress Avenue. The person was determined to be blind and using a walking stick.
12:55 p.m. A cab driver reported seeing a person resembling someone who did not pay his cab fare a week ago near the 200 block of California Drive. The subject was gone when police arrived.
1:59 p.m. A officer responded to suspicious activity of a subject attempting to get into a car on the 900 block of Rollins Road. It was determined the subject was the car owner and had locked his keys in the car.
