Police Blotter: Trees Cause Traffic and More

Friday, Jan. 20

6:31 a.m. A black, four-door Chrysler was reported stolen from the 1600 block of Bayshore Highway.

1:21 p.m. A resident found a bullet in a parking lot on the 1500 block of Trousdale and turned it in to police.

3:50 p.m. There was a report of a man sitting outside in a wheelchair in the rain El Camino Real and Trousdale Drive. Contact was made with a caregiver, who brought the man inside.

8:08 p.m. The wind blew over a large basketball stand on the 1800 block of Castenada Drive. The stand was blocking traffic.

Saturday, Jan. 21

9:39 a.m. Tree limbs were reported in the roadway at Belleveue Avenue, Douglas Avenue and Primrose Road.

1:18 p.m. A woman called the police seeking advice on what to do about her son skipping school.

2:33 p.m. A house and vehicle were egged on the 1500 block of Columbus Avenue.

Sunday, Jan. 22

2:10 a.m. Two subjects were sitting in a parked car at Belleveue Avenue and El Camino Real. They were sent on their way.

3:32 a.m. A subject was in a parked car waiting for a friend at California Drive and Majilla Avenue.

1:58 p.m. A passport was found on the 1100 block of Burlingame Avenue.

Monday, Jan. 23

3:13 a.m. A resident reported hearing an explosion near the 200 block of Myrtle Road.

8:26 a.m. A subject on the 1000 block of Cortez Avenue was using a leaf blower in violation of a City ordinance.

4:12 p.m. A verbal altercation occured between two females on the 1100 block of Trousdale Drive due to one of them snoring.
