'Significant' Flooding In Hillsborough Creates Roadway Hazards

HILLSBOROUGH, CA — The rainstorm soaking the Bay Area created "significant localized flooding conditions" in the town of Hillsborough, which issued a traffic safety alert Monday morning.
The alert advised for caution when driving through the town because of roadway hazards and standing or running water.
Emergency crews were working to remove hazardous debris and mitigate flooding conditions, the alert said.

Elsewhere in San Mateo County, a portion of Highway 92 was closed and several creeks were overflowing at the beaches. Pescadero Creek Road was partially flooded east of the bridge, according to Cal Fire CZU.
