Traffic Alert In Burlingame For April 20, 21
If your normal driving route includes the Broadway overpass, be prepared for significant traffic impacts.
From San Mateo County: On Thursday night, into Friday morning (10pm to 6am), the Northbound 101 offramp to Broadway will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to Millbrae Av. Additionally; the roadway in the area of Bayshore Blvd and Airport Blvd will be closed during this time period.
On Friday night, into Saturday morning (8pm to 10am), the Broadway overpass will be closed. If you need to get to Airport Blvd, Bayshore Highway, or US101, you will need to detour to Millbrae Av, Peninsula Av (for Northbound 101), or Poplar in San Mateo (for Southbound 101).
When this project is completed, access to Southbound 101 from Broadway will be from the overpass. The Cadillac Way access to Southbound 101 will be permanently closed. Additionally, the current Airport Blvd/Bayshore Highway detour will no longer exist. Bayshore Highway and Airport Blvd will again connect without a detour.
