45 MPH Winds May Hit Calabasas Friday: NWS
Santa Ana winds up to 45 miles per hour will hit Calabasas Friday.
CALABASAS, CA — Calabasas will see winds between 20 and 30 miles per hour Friday, with gusts up to 45 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service for Los Angeles and Oxnard.
The advisory started at 7 p.m. Thursday and will last through 4 p.m. Friday, during which time motorists are advised to use caution on the roadways. Residents should be particularly careful on the State Route 23 and 101, 118 and 126, according to NWS.
The Santa Monica Mountains Recreational Area will see winds between 15 to 25 miles per hour with gusts up to 45 miles per hour. Residents should be particularly careful on canyon roads like Kanan Road, Malibu Canyon Road, Topanga Canyon and Decker Canyon Road, according to NWS.
