CALABASAS, CA — Firefighters quickly extinguished a small brush fire that broke out Thursday afternoon on Las Virgenes Road. The fire was located near the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District building at Las Virgenes Road and Willow Glen Street. It was about a quarter-acre in size, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The department described the fuel load as light and the fire as slow-spreading.
