The multi-jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan is meant to promote sound public policy and programs that protect residents, infrastructure, property and the environment from hazards that may arise. The Las Virgenes-Malibu Council of Governments, the regional government that covers Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Malibu and Westlake Village, is inviting the public to offer input as it updates the area's plan.
