Calabasas' Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan Is Getting An Update — And You Can Help

The regional plan to prepare for natural and manmade hazards is getting an update and officials are requesting residents' input.

CALABASAS, CA — The Las Virgenes-Malibu Council of Governments is seeking Calabasas residents' input as it updates its plan to for natural and manmade hazards.

The multi-jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan is meant to promote sound public policy and programs that protect residents, infrastructure, property and the environment from hazards that may arise.

The Las Virgenes-Malibu Council of Governments, the regional government that covers Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Malibu and Westlake Village, is inviting the public to offer input as it updates the area's plan.
