CALABASAS, CA — As the omicron variant quickly spreads throughout the county, Calabasas saw a massive spike in COVID-19 cases this week.
Calabasas had 2236 confirmed cases of coronavirus as of Wednesday, 224 more cases than just a week before, according to Los Angeles County Public Health data.
Calabasas sits significantly above the county's vaccination rate; 84.2 percent of Calabasas residents age five and over have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, compared to 78.8 percent for the county.
