CALABASAS, CA — Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams' most hotly debated flavor is back.

The ice cream company's infamous "Everything Bagel" flavor will make a sweet — and salty — return to storefronts and online on March 21. But you will have to move fast, it will only be available while supplies last... supplies didn't last long last year, according to a representative of Jeni's.

The flavor was created last year in honor of national "Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day," which the company celebrated this year with a world record attempt.

"Last year, ya’ll had A LOT to say about our Everything Bagel ice cream. Was it chaotic good or chaotic evil? Proof of the presence of God—or the absence? Did Jeni fly too close to the sun? Whether you loved or hated the idea of it, the one thing you couldn’t dispute was that it tasted just like an everything bagel," Jeni's said on their website.

The flavor wasn't just created for "shock value," a Jeni's representative said. Jeni's stores have paired everything bagel seasoning with ice cream since 2013 in the form of a crunchy streusel, the recipe for which was included in Jeni's founder Jeni Britton's cookbook.
