Gusty Winds Expected In Calabasas Through Wednesday Afternoon
A wind advisory is in effect for Calabasas through Wednesday afternoon. Motorists are advised to show extra caution on canyon roads.

CALABASAS, CA — Calabasas will see gusty winds through Wednesday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service for Los Angeles and Oxnard.
Northeast winds are expected be reach between 20 and 35 miles per hour, with gusts up to 50 miles per hour in the Santa Monica Mountains.
Winds between 20 and 30 miles per hour, with gusts up to 45 miles per hour, are expected throughout the San Fernando Valley. The wind advisory is in effect until Wednesday at 12 p.m.

The wind will cause dangerous road conditions, especially on canyon roads like Kanan Road, Malibu Canyon Road, Topanga Canyon and Decker Canyon Road, according to NWS. The wind will also affect the State Route 23, 101 and 118.
The wind could cause power outages throughout Wednesday morning.
