CALABASAS, CA — King’s Fish House will be the next host of The Commons monthly "Give Back" event, set for Tuesday, July 25.

The restaurant will donate 25 percent of the proceeds from its oyster and raw bar on that day to Brandon's Village. It's part of a monthly series of charity events at The Commons in celebration of the shopping center's 25th anniversary.

Brandon's Village at Gates Canyon Park is a destination playground designed to be accessible to children of all ability levels. First built in 2006, plans are currently underway to rehabilitate the playground with new upgrades.

The project is still seeking to raise money for a custom red-tailed hawk climbing structure, meant to represent the city's logo, that failed to earn city funding earlier this year.
