The local council of governments is asking residents about their preparedness as part of a five-year planning process.

CALABASAS, CA — Local officials want to hear from residents about their natural disaster preparedness as part of a five-year hazard mitigation planning process.

The Las Virgenes-Malibu Council of Governments has asked that residents of Malibu, Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Hidden Hills and Westlake Village fill out an online survey that will be used to assist local officials in better planning to natural disasters and mitigate the impacts of wildfires, earthquakes and other major events.

You can fill out the survey here through the end of August.
