Man Sought in Attempted Molestation of Girl in Calabasas

The suspect allegedly lured the 8-year-old to a secluded area of Park Capri about 2:45 p.m. Thursday, but she was able to get away.

Sheriff's deputies are looking for a man suspected of attempting to molest an 8-year-old girl in Calabasas on Thursday.

The man allegedly lured the child to a secluded area in the 23600 block of Park Capri around 2:45 p.m., according to a release from the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station.

"When the suspect attempted to commit a sex crime against the child, the child was able to run away to safety," the release read.

The suspect is described as a 30-year-old male with sandy blond hair, 5-feet 10-inches in height and weighing approximately 180 pounds.
