Sheriff's deputies are looking for a man suspected of attempting to molest an 8-year-old girl in Calabasas on Thursday. The man allegedly lured the child to a secluded area in the 23600 block of Park Capri around 2:45 p.m., according to a release from the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station. "When the suspect attempted to commit a sex crime against the child, the child was able to run away to safety," the release read. The suspect is described as a 30-year-old male with sandy blond hair, 5-feet 10-inches in height and weighing approximately 180 pounds. Anyone with information about the suspect is being asked to call Det. Tim MacLean with the sheriff department's Special Victims Bureau at (562) 946-8293 or the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station at (818) 878-1808.
