The City of Calabasas Arbor Day Celebration takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Gates Canyon Park. Festivities will include tree planting activities and a Smart Gardening Workshop in which participants will learn tips and techniques about composting. The event will conclude with the Official Tree Planting Ceremony.

Enjoy an egg hunt, animal-feeding arts & crafts from from 1-4 p.m. Admission is free for members; $4 for adult non-members; $2 for child non-members.
4. Mountains Restoration Trust Native Plant Festival and Sale
Spend the day with the family learning about the many beautiful native plants available for home gardens and ways to conserve water at Mountains Restoration Trust 's spring family festival Plant Natives! Save Water! Native Plant Sale. Over 500 native plants will be for sale and booths will provide gardening technique and landscaping tips. The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (3815 Old Topanga Canyon Rd, Calabasas).
