Multi-Vehicle Crash Stalls 101 Freeway

All lanes of the westbound 101 Freeway are open again after a multi-car crash shut down the freeway near Parkway Calabasas on Monday morning.

Westbound lanes were closed for several minutes after the crash was reported around 9:45 a.m., said Officer Francisco Villalobos of the California Highway Patrol.

One of the vehicles collided with the center divider, knocking some concrete debris into the eastbound side of the freeway and temporarily shutting down the two left lanes, Villalobos said.

Some injuries were reported and the cause of the crash is being investigated, he added.
